Would you like to join me on a health journey? Welcome to my 52 week transformation plan to help you feel and look your absolute best. Each week I will give you a challenge related to health and wellness and bring you actionable steps to create healthy habits that stick. We will start with easy steps like incorporating more green vegetables in your diet, work up to the challenge of reducing sugar, tackle mindfulness and stress reduction and even help you go green in your home. I want to inspire you to become the best you can be as a whole person so that you can look great and feel energetic and focused. It will be like having your personal health coach gently nudging you to a path of extraordinary wellbeing.
What’s in it for you? You can expect weight loss, better skin, clearer thinking, improved mood and the elimination of fatigue and digestive issues. When you feel better, you are more productive and more focused to accomplish your goals and live the extraordinary life you deserve to live!
Why should I do it? I am so busy, you ask. I am sure you heard of Tony Robbins, coach extraordinaire and lately called the CEO whisperer, helping the rich and famous be on top of their game. Did you know that the first thing he has his clients do is get in the best physical shape of their lives because “much of winning is mental and attitudinal”. Once you can control your body the path to controlling the mind is much easier. With more stamina and focus, it will be easier to accomplish your goals and reach for your dreams.
All you have to do is make the commitment, SHOW UP and DO THE WORK and week by week those small positive steps will add up to lifelong habits to help you live longer, happier and healthier. Are you with me?????? If this sounds good to you let’s get started on this week’s challenge.
Week #1 Challenge: Make Green Smoothies
Incorporate one green juice or smoothie EVERY day. If you have been following my blog for a while, you know that I am a major smoothie evangelist. Notice that I am not taking anything away from you. Have your wine, sugar, smokes, whatever you fancy. All I am asking you to do is to go to your local juice place or dust off that old juicer or blender and whip up a delicious green drink that will supply you with live food (vs. dead carbs like bagels) and nutrients that we so often lack. I promise that the tasty recipe below will happily surprise so go ahead and give it a try.
This is not just about nutrients but about changing your mindset and starting to think of food as medicine. This little act of getting a daily green drink will force you to patron healthy juice places, shop for green vegetables and mingle with like minded health warriors. Don’t forget to tell them to sign up for the challenge and see you next week for week #2.
